Hilton Podgorica Crna Gora, designed by Vujadin Popović and opened in 1953, was a symbol of post-war development and modern architecture in Montenegro. Over the years, its significance to the local culture and community grew, attracting the attention of the international Hilton Hotels & Resorts network. In 2011, plans for the hotel's reconstruction were announced, which included respect for the characteristics of the existing building and local traditions. After modernization, Hilton Podgorica Crna Gora was transformed into a five-star hotel, located in the city center at Boulevard Svetog Petra Cetinjskog 2, employing approximately 420 staff. The facility offers 180 double rooms, 20 suites, a congress center, a restaurant, a bar, a spa, an indoor pool, and underground parking. As part of the development, a shopping and business center was also established, further enriching the hotel's offerings. Interestingly, when opening new properties, Hilton strives to understand the native culture, making it friendly to the local community.
