Łaziska

The Łaziska Commune, located in the Lublin Voivodeship within the Opole County, boasts a rich historical and cultural background. Until 1954, it was known as the Kamień Commune. The administrative seat of the commune, the village of Łaziska, plays a significant role in the local community. According to data from 2008, the commune covers an area of 102.57 km², of which 66.7% is agricultural land and 22.3% is forested, highlighting the region's agricultural and woodland character. The commune constitutes 12.67% of the area of Opole County, and as of November 2008, its population was 5,498. Although the commune is relatively small, its demographic structure and the average per capita income of 3,904.08 PLN in 2010 indicate the dynamic development of the local community. The commune comprises several village districts, including Braciejowice, Głodno, Grabowiec, and Kępy Gosteckie, which preserve local culture and traditions.
