wikipedia
Ścieżków Groń, also known as Łysina, is a peak in the Łysina Range of the Beskid Mały Mountains, situated between Gugów Groń and Zamczyska. Its name, originally Łysina, was used by the local population and is documented in Andrzej Komoniecki's "Dziejopis żywiecki" (Chronicle of Żywiec). Despite historical names such as Ściszków Groń, associated with the local surname Ścieszka, the state commission on geographical names has officially changed it to Ścieżków Groń—a decision that has sparked controversy. The summit is forested, and its surroundings feature extensive farmland offering expansive panoramas, including views of Babia Góra and the Beskid Żywiecki Mountains. An added attraction for tourists is a group of rocks known as Zamczysko, home to Jaskinia Lodowa (Ice Cave)—the lowest-elevation cave in Poland with summer ice—as well as numerous climbing routes. The ridge of Łysina has been developed into a hiking trail. In addition to its natural attractions, the region also holds cultural significance as a place of local legends and traditions.
