Świątki

The Świątki Commune, located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship within the Olsztyn County, boasts a rich history and a structurally diverse landscape. The seat of the commune is the town of Świątki. Between 1975 and 1998, the commune belonged to the Olsztyn Voivodeship. According to data from the National Census of March 31, 2011, the commune had a population of 4,224 residents, while data from December 31, 2019, showed the number had decreased to 4,039 people. In 2002, the commune covered an area of 163.8 km², of which 72% was agricultural land and 10% was forested, contributing positively to the local landscape and agricultural potential. The Świątki Commune has a well-developed structure of villages, including Brzydowo, Garzewo, Gołogóra, and Jankowo, among others. Other localities within the commune include Brzeźno, Dąbrówka, and Kiewry. The commune borders municipalities such as Dobre Miasto, Dywity, Jonkowo, Lubomino, Łukta, Miłakowo, and Morąg, fostering local cooperation and cultural exchange.
