wikipedia
Świeradów-Zdrój is a place with a rich railway history. On October 31, 1909, its station was opened as part of the Jizera Mountain Railway. The station, designed in a style reflecting the town's spa architecture, originally offered ticket office services, a restaurant, and housing for employees. After World War II, in 1945, the station came under the management of the Polish State Railways. After numerous changes in passenger connections, they were finally suspended in 1996. In 2012, the town took over the station buildings, and between 2018 and 2019, the facility underwent revitalization to adapt it for museum and cultural functions. In March 2019, the Municipal Center for Culture, Activity, and Promotion of the Municipality "Stacja Kultury" was opened. In 2023, after a 27-year break, regular train connections returned to Świeradów-Zdrój, and the stop became the terminus of line No. 317. The stop's infrastructure, consisting of a modern platform and a station building with monitoring and lighting, attracts both tourists and locals. Interestingly, regular bus connections are available in front of the station, further facilitating transportation in the region. The stop is located at an altitude of 460 meters above sea level, on the eastern edge of the town, near voivodeship road No. 358, making it accessible to all visitors to this picturesque spa.
