Bałuty-Centrum is the most populous neighborhood in the former district of Łódź, covering an area of 5.22 km² and inhabited by 49,461 people in 2015. Located in the northwestern part of the city, the boundaries of the neighborhood are defined by Włókniarzy Avenue, Zgierska Street, Łagiewnicka Street, and Ogrodowa Street. At the heart of the neighborhood lies Manufaktura, the former industrial center of Izrael Poznański, which now serves as an extensive commercial complex.
