Bejsce is a rural commune located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, within Kazimierza County, with its administrative seat in the village of Bejsce. For many years, until 1998, it belonged to the Kielce Voivodeship. The commune is characterized by a large area of agricultural land, accounting for as much as 92% of its total area, highlighting its agricultural character. According to demographic data, at the end of 2017, the commune was inhabited by 4,108 people, which is a decrease compared to 2010, when the population was 4,195. The Bejsce commune consists of numerous village districts (sołectwa), such as Brończyce, Dobiesławice, and Morawianki, which contribute to the rich social structure of the area. Architecturally, the region boasts traditional rural buildings, as well as functional structures that meet local needs. Although the commune is primarily agricultural, it also includes recreational areas that may be attractive to tourists. Due to its location in a picturesque area and proximity to other communes, such as Kazimierza Wielka and Koszyce, Bejsce is an interesting place for settlement and exploring local culture and traditions. Although small, the commune holds a history that dates back many years, as well as numerous traditions maintained by its residents to this day.
