wikipedia
The Beskid Sport Arena Ski Resort in Szczyrk-Biała is a modern ski complex located in the picturesque Silesian Beskids, which is very popular among skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. Its infrastructure includes a ski equipment rental and service shop, a licensed ski and snowboard school, a restaurant, and a winter playground for children, making it an ideal destination for families. The resort operator, "PBC" Sp. z o.o., based in Katowice, was established in 2010 after spinning off assets from the former company "Mosty Katowice." The owners, Maciej Błach and Czesław Poledniok, also hold key management positions in both companies. The Beskid Sport Arena features the 6-seater "Beskid" chairlift, which was launched on December 27, 2016, significantly enhancing the resort's transport capacity. In total, there are three lifts, including two short platter lifts, and four downhill slopes of varying difficulty levels. The slopes differ in length, elevation, and gradient, allowing skiers of all skill levels to enjoy the sport in conditions suited to their abilities. An interesting feature is the sports zone on slope No. 2, designed for more advanced skiers. The resort's history dates back to when a T-bar lift operated on the slope, and the modern infrastructure has greatly improved the quality of guest services. The Beskid Sport Arena is not only a place for winter sports but also a tourist attraction in the region, offering a variety of amenities and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
