Czarna Dąbrówka is a rural municipality located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, within the Bytów County, with its administrative seat in the village of Czarna Dąbrówka. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality belonged to the Słupsk Voivodeship. It consists of 22 village districts, including Bochowo, Jasień, and Otnoga. The municipality covers an area of 298.28 km², of which 35% is agricultural land and 55% is forested. According to data from December 31, 2014, the population was 5,833, indicating a low population density. The area is intersected by provincial roads No. 210, 211, and 212, ensuring good access to nearby towns. The natural environment of the municipality is protected by the Słupia Valley Landscape Park and nature reserves such as Gniazda Orła Bielika (White-Tailed Eagle Nests) and Jeziora Małe i Duże Sitno (Small and Large Sitno Lakes). The municipality borders areas such as Borzytuchom, Bytów, and Dębnica Kaszubska.
