The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Kielce-Białogon is a Roman Catholic parish church, located in the Białogon district, within the Kielce-West deanery. It was built between 1917 and 1918 from wood, designed by architect Mateusz Galas, who realized the project thanks to the initiative and funds of the parishioners, with the support of a machinery factory. The church is designed in the Zakopane style, with shingle roofs, giving it a distinctive regional appearance. The structure of the temple is relatively small and consists of a single nave, a three-sided closed presbytery, and a porch adorned with a cast-iron plaque featuring a commemorative medal marking the launch of the Aleksander Steelworks. On both sides of the nave, there are a chapel and a sacristy, while the whole is topped by a tower. In 1981, the church underwent a thorough renovation, during which the wooden floor was replaced with a floor made of "marble waste," and the old pulpit was removed. In 1993, the church, along with its wooden bell tower and fence, was entered into the register of immovable monuments. In 2016, conservation work began, which included replacing the fence. The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord is not only a valuable architectural monument but also plays an important role in the cultural and religious life of the residents of Białogon.
