Ciechocin is a rural municipality located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, within the Golub-Dobrzyń County. Its administrative seat is the village of Ciechocin. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality was part of the Toruń Voivodeship. The municipality covers an area of 101.49 km², of which 55% is agricultural land and 35% is forested. According to demographic data, the municipality had a population of 4,034 at the end of 2017, which decreased to 4,022 by the end of 2019. The municipality is home to registered historical monuments, including a manor house from the second half of the 19th century in Świętosław and a 14th-century church in Ciechocin dedicated to St. Margaret, reflecting the region's rich history and architecture.
