Czerwińsk nad Wisłą is an urban-rural municipality in the Masovian Voivodeship, within the Płońsk County, which regained its town status on January 1, 2020. The municipality was formed through the merger of the former rural communes of Sielec and Wychodź. Its seat, Czerwińsk nad Wisłą, boasts a rich historical heritage, with one of its most notable architectural landmarks being the historic Benedictine Monastery, which attracts numerous tourists. The municipality covers an area of 146.07 km², with agricultural land dominating the landscape, accounting for 84% of the total area. Additionally, Czerwińsk is abundant in forests and green spaces, offering ample opportunities for recreation. According to data from 2004, the municipality was home to 7,926 people, reflecting a locally diverse demographic structure.
