Dąbrówno

Dąbrówno is a rural commune in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, within Ostróda County, with its seat located in the town of Dąbrówno. Between 1975 and 1998, the commune belonged to the Olsztyn Voivodeship. According to data from June 30, 2004, Dąbrówno had 4,380 inhabitants, while by the end of 2019, the population had decreased to 4,283. The commune covers an area of 165.37 km², of which 68% is agricultural land and 12% is forested. Dąbrówno is part of the Dylewo Hills Landscape Park and includes valuable natural areas, such as the ecological site "Brzeźno Mazurskie," as well as two Protected Landscape Areas.
