Dębno is an urban-rural municipality located in the southwestern part of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, within the Myślibórz County, with the town of Dębno serving as its administrative seat. The municipality covers 27.0% of the area of Myślibórz County and is the most populous municipality in the region. It is worth noting that until 1998, Dębno belonged to the Gorzów Voivodeship. The municipality borders the municipalities of Boleszkowice, Myślibórz, Mieszkowice, and Trzcińsko-Zdrój, as well as municipalities in the Lubusz Voivodeship, making it an important transportation hub. Dębno boasts a well-developed transport infrastructure, with national and regional roads as well as railway connections, reflecting its historical significance as a transportation junction since 1882.
