Debrzno is an urban-rural municipality located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, within the Człuchów County, with its administrative seat in Debrzno. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality belonged to the Słupsk Voivodeship. It consists of 14 villages, including Boboszewo, Buka, Cierznie, Drozdowo, and Myśligoszcz. The municipality covers an area of 224.17 km², of which 65% is agricultural land and 25% is forested, making it an important area for agriculture and forestry. According to demographic data at the end of 2019, the municipality had a population of 8,984, which represents a decrease compared to 2004, when the population was 9,307. The municipality is home to the Miłachowo Nature Reserve, highlighting the importance of nature conservation in the region. Debrzno is twinned with the German town of Weinbach, fostering international cooperation. The municipality borders other municipalities such as Czarne, Człuchów, Kamień Krajeński, Lipka, Okonek, and Sępólno Krajeńskie, which may promote collaboration and cultural exchange among different communities.
