wikipedia
The Devil's Loop, also known as Tornado, is a roller coaster created by the French company Soquet, located in the Legendia amusement park in Chorzów. It was relocated in 2007 from the American Adventure Park in the United Kingdom and is the first roller coaster in Poland to feature inversions. The ride reaches speeds of up to 70 km/h, with g-forces peaking at 3 g. The roller coaster is accessible to individuals aged 10 and above, with a minimum height requirement of 140 cm. During the 2018/2019 season, it underwent a renovation that included a name change and the introduction of a new theme. The ride begins with a slow ascent to a 20-meter-high hill, followed by a curved drop, two loops, and a spiral turn, before the train is brought to a halt and returns to the station. Initially, the roller coaster lacked theming, but from 2007 to 2011, it was sponsored by the Tic Tac brand, resulting in their logo being displayed near the attraction. After the renovation, the station incorporated elements inspired by a mine, enriched with folkloric accents related to the figure of a witch. The colors of the train and track were adjusted to match the new theme, giving the ride a unique character. The Devil's Loop has come a long way, changing locations and names, reflecting its evolution and adaptation to the changing tastes of park visitors. Thus, the roller coaster is not only an entertainment attraction but also a cultural element, connecting the history of amusement parks with a modern approach to theming and guest experiences.
