Dobron

Dobroń is a rural commune located in the Łódź Voivodeship, in Pabianice County. The seat of the commune is the town of Dobroń. The history of the commune dates back to before 1929, when it was known as the Wymysłów commune. From 1975 to 1998, the commune was administratively part of the Sieradz Voivodeship. The commune covers an area of 95.46 km², of which 52% is agricultural land and 41% is forest land, making it an area of rich biodiversity. According to data from October 2011, the commune was inhabited by 7,121 people.
