The Gdynia Automotive Museum is a private institution located in Gdynia-Cisowa, which collects and exhibits historic cars and motorcycles. The museum, open from Monday to Saturday, has been visited by 32,000 people over its three years of operation. The exhibition is held in a hall styled as a cobblestone street from the 1920s, with cobblestones sourced from Starowiejska Street in Gdynia and bricks from Ogarna Street in Gdańsk. The museum's collection includes around 200 restored vehicles, including nearly 50 cars and about 150 motorcycles, featuring brands such as Mercedes, Ford, and Fiat. The collection also includes motorcycles from various countries, including English, Belgian, French, and American models, as well as the Polish Sokół and numerous German motorcycles from the 1930s. Most of the exhibits were produced before 1945, but there are also nods to the Polish People's Republic era, such as the OSA scooter and the 1948 Skoda Tudor, often used as an ambulance. The oldest car in the collection is a 1918 Raleigh, while a notable relic from the early days of Gdynia is the 1925 Buick Master Six. Visitors can also admire models such as the Renault NN and the 1926 Ford T, as well as restored Mercedes from the 1930s. The motorcycle collection includes models like the Zundapp KS 500, Indian 341, 1941 Harley-Davidson WL, as well as BMW and Royal Enfield motorcycles from the 1930s. The Gdynia Automotive Museum is an important part of local culture, combining a passion for automobiles with the rich history of automotive heritage.
