Grodziec is a rural municipality located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within the Konin County, with its administrative seat in the village of Grodziec. According to data from June 30, 2004, the municipality had a population of 5,251 inhabitants and covered an area of 117.72 km², of which 56% was agricultural land and 37% forested areas. Grodziec Municipality is part of the rural landscape of Greater Poland, featuring diverse terrain and natural values, which, combined with agriculture and forestry, form the core of its economy.
