The Holy Trinity Church in Ruda Śląska is a Roman Catholic parish church located in the Kochłowice district of the Silesian Voivodeship. It belongs to the Kochłowice Deanery of the Archdiocese of Katowice. Built between 1900 and 1902 in a Neo-Romanesque and Neo-Gothic style, the church features a three-aisle layout based on the Latin cross plan. The building was designed by Ludwig Schneider from Wrocław, and construction began after obtaining approval from the church council and the allocation of land in January 1900. The cornerstone was laid on July 15, 1900, and the construction was carried out by master mason Fedora Wieczorek. In 1901, the church received the image of Our Lady of Częstochowa, painted by Franciszek Jędrzejczyk. The church was consecrated on October 17, 1902, by Cardinal Georg Kopp. Not only does the church serve religious functions, but it also stands as an important cultural landmark in the region, reflecting the history and architecture of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Interestingly, its construction coincided with the period of industrial development in Silesia, which influenced local communities and their religious needs.
