Iłowo-Osada is a rural municipality in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, within Działdowo County, established in 1973. Its administrative seat is the town of Iłowo-Osada. The municipality covers an area of 103.77 km², with over 50% of its territory under legal protection. In 2019, the population was 7,192. The land use is predominantly agricultural (59%) and forested (32.3%). The area is known for its rich natural resources, including nature reserves such as "Świńskie Bagno" and "Góra Dębowa." Transportation is well-developed, with access to a provincial road and a railway line. Iłowo-Osada also boasts well-maintained educational and cultural infrastructure, including the Technical and General Education School Complex and the Municipal Center for Culture and Sports. The municipality is home to several notable historical monuments, such as churches in Narzym, Iłowo-Osada, and Białuty, a prayer house, and a manor-park complex in Narzym. Among industrial heritage sites, the railway water tower in Iłowo stands out.
