Jabłonka

Jabłonka Commune, located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship within Nowy Targ County, covers an area of 213.28 km², of which 60% is agricultural land and 34% is forested area. The commune constitutes 14.46% of the county's total area and borders the municipalities of Bystra-Sidzina, Czarny Dunajec, Lipnica Wielka, Raba Wyżna, Spytkowice, and Zawoja. Additionally, Jabłonka shares a border with Slovakia, which contributes to its cultural richness. Between 1975 and 1998, the commune was part of the Nowy Sącz Voivodeship. The administrative seat of the commune is the village of Jabłonka, which had a population of 18,570 as of December 31, 2017.
