Jacek Malczewski's house in Radom is a historic tenement building from the second half of the 19th century, located at 8 Malczewski Street. It was built in the late 1870s and became the home of the Malczewski family. Jacek Malczewski, a renowned Polish painter, spent time here when returning from Krakow. It was during this period that he created his first works, including the 1874 oil painting "Portrait of Sister Helena at the Piano." The building stands out for its architecture, and on the ground floor, there is a ceiling plafond inspired by ancient painting. The tenement was entered into the register of monuments of the National Heritage Institute under number 496/A/91 on November 6, 1991. This place holds significant cultural and historical importance, being closely tied to the life and work of one of Poland's most important artists.
