Kietrz

Kietrz is an urban-rural municipality located in the Opole Voivodeship, within the Głubczyce County, with the town of Kietrz serving as its administrative seat. The municipality covers an area of 139.93 km², dominated by agricultural land (88%) and a small proportion of forested areas (2%). In 2007, it was home to 11,776 people, with a demographic structure reflecting diverse age groups. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality was part of the Opole Voivodeship. From an architectural perspective, Kietrz boasts notable structures that reflect the region's rich history.
