Kluczewsko is a rural municipality located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, within Włoszczowa County. Its administrative seat is the town of Kluczewsko. The municipality has a rich history dating back to 1867, when it was established as part of new administrative divisions. Between 1975 and 1998, it belonged to the Piotrków Voivodeship, and after 1999, it became part of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. The municipality is characterized by its picturesque location in the northwestern part of the voivodeship and diverse terrain, with the Pilica and Czarna Włoszczowska rivers, making it ideal for kayaking, hiking, and cycling. The municipality covers an area of 137.05 km², of which 56% is agricultural land and 38% is forested. Notable architectural landmarks include the Parish Church of St. Lawrence in Kluczewsko and the Church of St. James the Apostle in Stanowiska. There is also a 19th-century Neo-Gothic manor granary and a historic Protestant Calvinist church in Łapczyna Wola, dating back to the early 17th century. The municipality is home to the Przedborski Landscape Park, which encompasses areas of high natural and landscape value. Tourists can explore numerous trails that wind through charming forests and along rivers. Kluczewsko also features agritourism farms offering accommodations and local experiences for visitors. According to data from 2004, the municipality had a population of 5,196, reflecting its demographic growth and socio-economic potential. In 1921, the municipality consisted of 29 localities with a total of 4,195 inhabitants.
