Kobylanka is a rural commune located in northwestern Poland, in the western part of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, within Stargard County. Its administrative seat is the village of Kobylanka. The commune ranks 85th in terms of area and 43rd in population within the voivodeship, covering 8.0% of its total area. In 2014, the age pyramid of its inhabitants indicated demographic diversity, although back in 2007, the commune was home to 5.6% of the population of Stargard County. The area lies on the Pyrzyce and Goleniów Plains, with picturesque landscapes rich in the forests of the Goleniów Wilderness and Lake Miedwie, which attracts sailors and tourists. The region features tourist trails, such as the green trail from Klęskowo to Morzyczyn and the blue trail from Załom to Stargard, encouraging active leisure.
