Kobylnica is a rural commune in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, located in Słupsk County. Between 1975 and 1998, it belonged to the Słupsk Voivodeship. The administrative seat of the commune is Kobylnica, which is one of its 26 village districts (sołectwa), alongside settlements such as Bolesławice, Bzowo, Lubuń, and Widzino. At the end of 2010, the commune had a population of 10,183. Its total area is 244.95 km², of which 60% is agricultural land and 30% is forested, highlighting its rural character and natural values. The commune covers 10.63% of the area of Słupsk County. Among its notable natural features is the Słupia Valley Landscape Park, a valuable protected area that attracts nature lovers and tourists.
