Kramsk is a rural commune in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within the Konin County, with its administrative seat located in a village of the same name. The commune spans an area of 131.78 km² and is predominantly characterized by agricultural land (76%) and forests (12%). According to data from June 30, 2016, it was inhabited by 11,052 people. Kramsk Commune has a rich administrative structure, consisting of 72 rural localities organized into 30 auxiliary units known as sołectwas. The largest villages are Kramsk and Wola Podłężna, with other significant settlements including Rudzica, Helenów Drugi, and Dębicz. Historically, Kramsk Commune has a long tradition, with the first village administrators (wójts) elected during the Third Polish Republic starting in 1990. Among them, Józef Karmowski stands out, having served as wójt for four consecutive terms. The demographic structure of the commune includes villages of varying sizes, and local communities are active in various initiatives. Volunteer Fire Departments (Ochotnicze Straże Pożarne) and Rural Housewives' Circles (Koła Gospodyń Wiejskich) operate within the commune, contributing significantly to community life. The culture of Kramsk Commune is rich and diverse, with numerous activities aimed at preserving local traditions. Communal primary schools, such as the Public Creative Integration Primary School in Milin and the Pope John Paul II Primary School in Wysokie, play a significant role in children's education.
