Krasnopol

Krasnopol is a rural municipality located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, within the Sejny County. It covers an area of 171.63 km², with the majority of the land used for agriculture (65%) and forests (21%). The municipality constitutes 20.05% of the total area of Sejny County. The administrative seat of the municipality is the village of Krasnopol. According to data from June 30, 2008, the municipality had 3,854 inhabitants, and by the end of 2017, this number had slightly decreased to 3,841.
