Krzymów is a rural commune in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, located in the Konin County, within the Warta River valley. The seat of the commune is the village of Krzymów, and its area covers 92.68 km², predominantly comprising agricultural and forest land. The region boasts rich natural conditions that favor agriculture and recreation. The Turek Upland, with the highest point in the county – Złota Góra (181 meters above sea level), is one of the characteristic features of the local landscape. The history of the commune dates back far into the past, and until 1954 it was known as the Brzeźno Commune. Demographically, the commune is relatively stable, with a population of 7,018 residents in 2004. Krzymów and the surrounding localities host numerous educational institutions, such as the Jan Brzechwa Primary School in Paprotnia, as well as schools in Brzeźno and Szczepidło, reflecting a strong commitment to education.
