Laskarzew

Łaskarzew, formerly known as the Dąbrowa Commune, is a rural municipality in the Masovian Voivodeship, located in Garwolin County, with its administrative seat in Łaskarzew. Between 1975 and 1998, the commune belonged to the Siedlce Voivodeship. According to data from June 30, 2004, the municipality had 5,536 inhabitants. Its area is 87.53 km², of which 61% is agricultural land and 32% is forested, making the commune cover 6.82% of Garwolin County's total area. The Łaskarzew Commune is rich in village administrative units (sołectwa), including Aleksandrów, Budel, Dąbrowa, Krzywda, and many others. In addition to these, there are also settlements without formal sołectwo status, such as Baranicha, Janków, and Nowy Helenów.
