Leśce is a picturesque village located in the Lublin Voivodeship, within the Garbów commune. The history of the locality dates back to 1383, when it was first recorded as a noble estate. Over the centuries, Leśce passed through various stages of ownership, gaining significance after being acquired by the Trzciński family in the 19th century. In 1855, Dionizy Trzciński built a historic manor, which is now a tourist attraction, and its restoration in 2010 brought back the former glory of the building. In 2019, the manor was expanded and adapted for conference and wedding purposes. The village is home to several social organizations, such as the Rural Housewives' Circle and the Volunteer Fire Department. Leśce is known for its numerous agricultural lands and forests, and within its boundaries are hamlets such as Malinówka and Stanisławówka. In 2011, the village had 522 inhabitants, and in recent years the number has increased to 540 in 2018 and 550 in 2021. Leśce is also home to the Zofia Trzcińska-Kamińska Primary School and the Leśminkowo Community Kindergarten. Of particular note is Zofia Trzcińska-Kamińska, recognized as an outstanding sculptor who grew up in the local manor. Important public roads such as the S17 and provincial road No. 828 intersect in Leśce, and public transport is supplemented by a local bus line. Geographically, the village is located on the border of the Lubartów Upland and the Nałęczów Plateau, and the Kurówka River flows through it. Historically, the locality was associated with many nobles, and due to its monuments and beautiful surroundings, Leśce is an interesting tourist destination in the region.
