Lesznowola is a rural municipality in the Masovian Voivodeship, located in the Piaseczno County, with its administrative seat in Lesznowola. Before 1998, the municipality was part of the Warsaw Voivodeship. It covers an area of 69.17 km², of which 74% is agricultural land. According to data from December 31, 2009, the municipality had 18,002 inhabitants. Lesznowola boasts well-developed social infrastructure, including three school complexes, five kindergartens, and children's clubs. In terms of culture, the Municipal Cultural Center and a library with branches operate here, fostering cultural activity among residents. The municipality emphasizes sports development, offering various sports facilities such as stadiums, sports fields, tennis courts, and an archery range. Sports clubs active in the area include the Ludowy Uczniowski Klub Sportowy SET and the Uczniowski Klub Sportowy Walka Kosów.
