Lipnik is a rural commune in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, within Opatów County. Between 1975 and 1998, it was part of the former Tarnobrzeg Voivodeship. The administrative seat of the commune is the village of Lipnik. According to demographic data, the commune had a population of 5,855 in 2004, which decreased to 5,260 by the end of 2019. Covering an area of 81.7 km², the commune is characterized by a strong agricultural profile, with arable land accounting for as much as 89% of its total area. Forests cover only 4% of the land.
