Among Lubomin's historical landmarks is the filial Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross from the late 16th century, as well as several buildings dating from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. The history of Lubomin dates back to the Iron Age, with the first written mentions of the village appearing between 1295 and 1305 in documents from the Wrocław bishopric, where it was referred to as "Villa Lybrici." Over the centuries, the village belonged to various owners, including well-known knightly and noble families, and went through different stages of economic development related to agriculture, crafts, and the textile industry. In the 19th century, mining developed in Lubomin, and schools were established, indicating the growing importance of the locality. An interesting historical note is the discovery of a Roman coin in the area, as well as the fact that the village underwent significant administrative changes after World War II, when in 1950 it gained its first bus connection with Wałbrzych. Lubomin is an example of a village with a rich history and tradition that, despite contemporary challenges, has preserved its cultural heritage.
