Ludwik Geyer's Manor, located at 286 Piotrkowska Street in Łódź, is a brick building in the neoclassical style, constructed in 1833 for the industrialist Ludwik Geyer. It served as a residence for the Geyer family until 1844, after which they moved to a grand mansion built on the same property. Originally, the manor consisted of three rooms, with a hallway on the ground floor and a facade featuring an iron balcony. In 2015, the building was designated a historical monument, highlighting its cultural and historical significance. Architecturally, the manor is characterized by a hipped roof and a facade adorned with a risalit topped by a triangular pediment. Over the course of various renovations and reconstructions, particularly in 1948, numerous changes were made to the front elevation, including the addition of a columned portico and a canopy, while the balcony was removed. The roof was covered with tiles. Currently, the manor is privately owned, placing it within the complex context of historic preservation and its adaptation in the modern urban landscape.
