The Municipality of Mieścisko, located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship within Wągrowiec County, is an urban-rural municipality with its seat in the town of Mieścisko. It covers an area of 135.62 km², and according to data from 2019, its population was 5,937 residents, indicating a slight decrease compared to previous years. The municipality borders the municipalities of Wągrowiec, Janowiec Wielkopolski, Kłecko, and Skoki, and is traversed by the Wełna River.
