Morawica is an urban-rural municipality located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, within the Kielce County, and is part of the Kielce agglomeration. The municipality covers an area of 140.45 km², of which 64% is agricultural land and 27% is forest land, making it a significant area for agriculture in the region. The seat of the municipality is the town of Morawica, home to the Świętokrzyskie Center of Psychiatry. The municipality also includes a subzone of the Starachowice Special Economic Zone, contributing to the development of the local economy. In 2015, Morawica received the Honorary Badge for Merits to the Development of the Polish Economy, highlighting its importance in the region. The municipality comprises numerous villages, such as Bilcza, Brudzów, and Zaborze, reflecting the diversity of local communities. Neighboring municipalities include Chęciny and Daleszyce, creating a dynamic area of cooperation and collaboration.
