wikipedia
Moszna Palace, located in the Opole Voivodeship, is a historic residence renowned for its unique architecture, cultural events, and rich history. Built in the 19th century, the palace boasts 365 rooms, 99 towers and turrets, and covers an area of 8,000 m². Its construction began in 1866, and after a fire in 1896, it was rebuilt in the Neo-Gothic and Neo-Renaissance styles by Count Franz Hubert von Tiele-Winckler, whose coat of arms adorns the façade. Surrounding the palace is a over 100-hectare landscape park, home to rare tree species and romantic ponds and water channels. The history of the palace dates back to earlier centuries, when a medieval wooden structure stood on the site. After World War II, the palace was converted into a sanatorium and the Center for Neurosis Therapy, and since 2013 it has been managed as a hotel and restaurant. The palace hosts numerous cultural events, including concerts, art exhibitions, and the annual Musical Festival of Blooming Azaleas. The location has also gained popularity as a filming site, featuring in productions such as "The Test of Pilot Pirx." Interestingly, in 2022, the National Bank of Poland issued a coin featuring the image of Moszna Palace, highlighting its significance in Polish culture and history.
