Gmina Góra, located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship within Góra County, covers an area of 268.74 km², with a predominance of agricultural land (66%) and forests (23%). Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality belonged to the Leszno Voivodeship, and its seat is in the town of Góra, which serves as the administrative center.
