Naruszewo

Naruszewo is a rural municipality with its administrative seat in Naruszewo, located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within Płońsk County. Originally part of the Krysk and Nacpolsk municipalities, it underwent administrative changes when, between 1975 and 1998, it belonged to the Ciechanów Voivodeship. Covering an area of 159.55 km², the municipality is characterized by a high percentage of agricultural land (77%) and forests (17%), highlighting its rural nature and the importance of agriculture in the local economy. Demographic data reveals a decline in population from 6,640 in 2004 to 6,312 in 2019.
