Niedrzwica Duża

Niedrzwica Duża is a rural commune located in the Lublin Voivodeship, within Lublin County, with its seat in the village of Niedrzwica Duża. It was established in the 15th century, although the first mentions of Niedrzwica date back to 1374. The commune covers an area of 106.82 km², dominated by agricultural land (84%) and forests (9%). According to the concept of P. Swianiewicz and U. Klimska, it is part of the Lublin agglomeration. In 2007, the commune had a population of 10,997.
