Nowa Wieś Lęborska is a rural municipality located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, within the Lębork County, with its administrative seat in Nowa Wieś Lęborska. Until 1953, it functioned as a municipality under the same name, and between 1975 and 1998, it was part of the Słupsk Voivodeship. According to data from December 31, 2011, the municipality was inhabited by 13,295 people. The total area of the municipality is 270.39 km², of which 60% is agricultural land and 30% is forested. The municipality covers 38.25% of the entire area of Lębork County. In terms of demographic structure, the municipality features a diverse age distribution, as illustrated by the population pyramid from 2014. The municipality is home to two nature reserves: Czarne Bagno and Łebskie Bagno, which protect unique ecosystems and are important components of local biodiversity. Nowa Wieś Lęborska is surrounded by neighboring municipalities such as Cewice, Choczewo, Główczyce, Lębork, Łęczyce, Potęgowo, and Wicko, fostering cultural exchange and local cooperation.
