The Oława Commune, located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship within Oława County, is part of the Wrocław agglomeration, situated just 16 km southeast of Wrocław. The region boasts a rich history and well-developed transportation infrastructure, primarily due to National Road 94 and Railway Line 132. Additionally, the A4 motorway and several provincial roads run through the commune, making it highly accessible. The commune covers an area of 234 km², of which 71% is agricultural land and 21% is forested. Oława Commune is also rich in natural resources, with three nature reserves within its borders: Grodzisko Ryczyńskie, Kanigóra, and Zwierzyniec, which protect unique ecosystems, including fragments of riparian forests and Slavic oak-hornbeam forests.
