Stare Miasto is a rural municipality located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within the Konin County, with its administrative seat in the town of Stare Miasto. Between 1975 and 1998, the area was part of the former Konin Voivodeship. The municipality covers an area of 97.82 km², of which 77% is agricultural land and 14% is forested. As of the end of 2019, the population of the municipality was 12,436. Stare Miasto is characterized by a diverse demographic structure, and data indicate population growth in recent years.
