Oporów is a rural commune located in the Łódź Voivodeship, in the Kutno County. Its administrative seat is the town of Oporów. Before 1998, the commune belonged to the Płock Voivodeship. Oporów is an active member of the Association of Municipalities of the Kutno Region. According to demographic data, in 2007 the commune was inhabited by 2,704 people, and by 2019 this number had decreased to 2,495.
