Pawłowiczki is a rural commune located in the Opole Voivodeship, within the Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, with its administrative seat in the village of the same name. The commune was established in 1975 through the merger of the former communes of Pawłowiczki and Gościęcin. It covers an area of 153.58 km², of which 89% is agricultural land and 5% is forested. Pawłowiczki constitutes 24.56% of the total area of Kędzierzyn-Koźle County. In 2004, the commune was inhabited by 8,468 people. The area features a private registered airstrip, which was officially recorded in 2013. The commune is home to various institutions, including the Municipal Social Welfare Center and a public library, as well as primary schools and school-preschool complexes. Pawłowiczki engages in partnerships with twin towns, such as Lindenfels in Germany and Velké Heraltice in the Czech Republic.
