Pomeranian Science and Technology Park

The Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia (PPNT Gdynia) is a key hub for innovation and entrepreneurship support, located on a 6.1-hectare site in the Redłowo district of Gdynia. It was established in 2001 on the grounds of a former municipal transport depot. The architecture of the complex blends modern and historical elements, with Building II, which once served as a bus depot, now housing biotechnology laboratories and offices. Building IV, inspired by transatlantic liners, pays homage to local modernist traditions. PPNT Gdynia is a thriving innovation ecosystem, hosting around 250 companies and offering services such as coworking spaces, consulting, and fully equipped workshops. The EXPERYMENT Science Centre promotes knowledge through interactive exhibitions, while the 3D printing lab proved particularly valuable during the pandemic by supporting medical services. The PPNT community actively participates in recurring events such as Gdynia Design Days and the Pomeranian 3D Printing Days. Innovative projects like Ivona Software—a speech synthesizer now part of Amazon—and eco-friendly concrete by Andervision continually contribute to the region's development. PPNT Gdynia also plays a significant role in securing EU funding, enabling the implementation of numerous projects. The Park Konstruktorów (Constructors' Park), located on former shipyard grounds, offers unique facilities for innovative projects in electronics and industrial design.
