The municipality of Przybiernów, located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship within Goleniów County, has the village of Przybiernów as its administrative seat. Established in 1945, it was part of the Szczecin Voivodeship until December 31, 1998. The municipality covers 14.2% of the county's area, and in 2008, it was home to 6.5% of the county's population. It lies on the Goleniów and Gryfice Plains, bordering the municipalities of Goleniów, Nowogard, Osina, and Stepnica, as well as Golczewo and Wolin. The landscape is dominated by the Goleniów Forest, with woodlands covering 54% of the area. The region features nature reserves such as Cisy Rokickie and Cisy Sosnowickie. Two rivers, Wołczenica and Gowienica, flow through the municipality, offering ideal conditions for kayaking. National road No. 3 passes through the area, and the nearest railway station, Rokita, was opened in 1892. The municipality has a well-developed road and rail network, including remnants of a narrow-gauge railway. Three post offices operate within its territory, and in 2016, the budget reported expenditures of 18.7 million PLN and revenues of 20.3 million PLN. The municipality of Przybiernów consists of numerous localities, including villages and settlements such as Babigoszcz, Czarnogłowy, Moracz, and Rokita. In recent years, the municipality has undertaken initiatives to develop infrastructure and support local community life.
