The municipality of Przyrów, located in the Silesian Voivodeship within the Częstochowa County, covers an area of 80.44 km², of which 61% is agricultural land and 27% is forest land. It includes a number of localities such as Aleksandrówka, Bolesławów, Knieja, and Sygontka, as well as forest settlements like Sieraków and Zalesice-Leśniczówka. The seat of the municipality is the town of Przyrów, which lost its town rights in the past but regained them on January 1, 2024, granting the municipality urban-rural status. The history of the municipality dates back to 1870, when it was established in the Częstochowa County as a result of the transformation of the town of Przyrów into a rural municipality. Over time, the area of the abolished Staropole municipality was incorporated into it. In 2004, the municipality was inhabited by 4,161 people. Przyrów borders other municipalities such as Dąbrowa Zielona, Janów, Koniecpol, Lelów, and Mstów. In terms of architecture, traditional rural buildings dominate here, along with modern elements that blend into the rural landscape. The culture of the municipality is connected with local traditions and crafts, reflecting the rich historical heritage of the region.
